I am extremely satisfied with the services at Mend Your Body Massage. I have used their manual lymphatic drainage massages after two major surgeries one year apart (back lift and tummy tuck). Jessica is very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to answer all questions and explain the body healing process. Jessica knows just what to do for your body to heal quick and proper. During a recent visit, within less than 30 minutes Jessica had massaged hardened scar tissue that I had for over 2 months into soft pliable tissue. Jess is just amazing at what she does!! She is extremely knowledgeable and her calm energy makes you feel relaxed the minute you walk in. I was lucky enough to find Jessica online to help with my fibrosis in my lipo areas. She educated me on what the correct massages for my situation were and after session 1, she was able to soften many hard spots. I am so thrilled and happy to have found someone that is certified and an expert in dealing with fibrosis after lipo. It's something not talked enough by doctors. I highly recommend Jessica; she is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I had shoulder surgery over a year ago. I have endured endless physical therapy that did not provide relief from pain or restore my mobility, but Jessica did! She has been amazing after only 3 visits my mobility has increased greatly, my pain and pin & needles in my hand have decreased significantly, to the point where I no longer need to go for suggested nerve testing and possibly more surgery. I've been going to Jessica for manual drainage massages following a surgery I had. I booked a set of 20 sessions and have gone nearly every day since my surgery. I am so glad that I booked with Jessica - I couldn't be happier with my results. I started off bruised and swollen all over to having nearly no bruising and a drastic reduction in swelling in just a few sessions. She is clearly knowledgeable in her craft and made me feel very comfortable. She helped me not only physically but mentally as well because she was able to answer a lot of questions that I had concerning the surgery and recovery that I was not able to ask my doctor. It was nice to see someone every day who could monitor my progress and assure me things were going well or point out any concerns she had. Jessica has an unbelievable talent to help with any muscle aches or pains. She cured my frozen shoulder after extensive physical therapy was unable to make much progress. When my wife had an extremely painful shoulder subluxation due to a stroke, Jessica was able to figure out how to get her on the table and how to relieve the pain. Both these problems took weeks of patience, but the results have been amazing. After getting a divorce, I decided on a body makeover and decided to get a tummy tuck and lipo 360. I heard so much about how great the doctors in Dominican Republic are that I decided to go and have the surgery there. Needless to say, I made a mistake. Upon my return to the States, the drain malfunctioned and had to be removed. Because the drain was removed before I was ready, I had to have 3 aspirations done by Interventional Radiology. The Doctor from Cooper suggested that I see someone who specializes in Lymphatic Massages in order to stop have aspirations. Upon recommendations, I went to Jessica. The first day I was with her my belly was full of fluid that once again needed to be drained. When I went to Jessica I was a complete mess. I cried and felt so horrible. Jessica eased my fears and began working on my body. I swear the next day, the fluid in my belly was practically gone. Not just that, I felt better. All the pain I was feeling and even some of the swelling went down. I saw Jessica 5 days straight and by the time I was done with the 5 sessions. The swelling went down, the fluid was gone and I no longer regretted my decision to have the tummy tuck and lipo. Moving forward, after I had the surgery, my dominant arm was not working as it did prior to surgery (I think I fell off the operating table and the doctor pulled me up by my arm) I was so focused on the other problems I had after surgery I thought I will deal with my arm afterwards. So once Jessica (my guardian Angel) took care of my after surgery problems she began working on my arm. I also met with doctors about my arm and was about to start physical therapy, but decided to have Jessica work on my arm first. Once again she made a miracle happen. After Jessica worked on my arm, I began to have more movement. I went to physical therapy who did nothing for me and decided to just have Jessica help me and with only two session I can now raise my arm above my head. Jessica is the sweetest and has miracle working hands. I have already told others who, like me went to Dominican Republic to have work done and came back with issues to see Jessica because she is a miracle worker. I totally recommend Jessica especially for Lymphatic Massages and for Chronic Pain Relief. I was so upset and hated my body after having surgery. Jessica helped me love me again, and she helped me to see that I did not ruin my body after all. I needed lymphatic massages and I was wondering who I would go to that is actually certified and really knows what they’re doing. I wanted someone to care for my body the way I would. I first went to another massage place and the lady did not have any knowledge of lymphatic massages because she just massaged my back and that was it. I never went back to her. A couple of days later I went to Jessica and she did a great job doing my lymphatic massage. She takes her time to do the massage the right way. She ask questions to find out where the problem areas are so she can work on those areas a little more. She massage the whole body but focus more on problematic areas. Swelling and bruising started to go away by the second massage. Each time my body felt better and better. I am about 2 weeks post op from receiving liposuction to my abdomen and I was so scared because my abdomen began to be lumpy, hard and swollen. Definitely not my idea of a flat stomach! Once I found Jessica I scheduled for a 5 day Lymphatic drainage session with her and NO LIE, our first session my stomach no longer had lumps and no hardness to it. Day 2, swelling reduced almost 75% literally. Today I go back for round 3! She makes you feel so comfortable, so easy going and so sweet! Back pain is a part of my daily life, it always has been. About a month ago I woke up with a stiff neck. It has happened before, I figured I slept wrong and it would go away in a few days. Five weeks later, the stiff neck hasn't gone away and it has now crept into my shoulders and upper back. I spent the last week looking at numerous massage "therapists", only to be dissatisfied at what was available. I wanted a licensed and trained therapist. I stumbled onto Jessica's site while scrolling endlessly through Google. At first it seemed like what I was looking for, but then there was a bunch of forms, medical history, etc. that needed to be filled out first. I just wanted a massage to make my neck pain go away. An hour later, I decided to fill out the forms and send them in. Jessica responded the next day and said she could help me. A session was booked for two days later, and I am happy to say it was well worth it. She is super friendly, professional, and good at what she does. Her home office is like stepping into a sterile doctor's office, and the treatment you get is the same. Two hours later I had full extension of my neck , which I certainly did not have when I showed up. I am sure I will be back for "tune ups" as needed, but I won't be looking anywhere else for my treatment. Take the time to fill out the paperwork and pay a little more money than the chain stores charge. I've never had Lymphatic Drainage Massage before Jessica but it was often recommended to me. I have a permanently red swollen foot because of a car accident. I finally did it and I'm glad I did. MLD from Jessica is gradually improving both the color and swelling of my foot. Jessica is knowledgeable, experienced and caring. I even fell asleep once, and that's unusual for me. I was born with a compromised lymphatic system. Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage is the only effective treatment. I have worked with several massage therapist over the years. I begin going to Jessica once a week 2 years ago.. She is the most effective therapist I’ve had. The swelling and pain in my legs is the most controlled it has been in over thirty years. I have had back pain for the last week, on an impulse I booked a massage with Jessica. I chose her strictly off of google, based on proximity to where I was. I am so glad I called and that an appointment was available. I am not a massage therapist however I do work in the allied health field and therefore I quickly recognized that Ms. Meirs is a seasoned professional! This is not your 60 min total body rub down type of massage that you get at franchise massage parlors. Ms. Meirs knew exactly which muscles to target and quickly pinpointed the areas of concern which needed attention. She is well trained, a complete professional and she provided some much needed relief! I have been getting massages from Jessica for about one year now. Generally it's been two or three times a month. I have had a lot of physical issues with arthritis, back, hip and feet issues. I always leave there feeling so much better. Jessica is a very caring, knowledgeable, and professional therapist. Her home office is very comfortable; and you feel so relaxed with the lovely soft music playing in the background while Jessica is massaging away all your stress and tight-knotted muscles. I have been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for years. Massages generally help me relax, but never got to address the deep rooted tension. Honestly at some point I was thinking that was just what I would have to live with, until I found Jessica through a random google search when looking for trigger point therapy. Jessica is incredibly personable, kind, sympathetic, and professional in communication. Above all, she is really amazing at her craft. I have tried Hands and Stone plus other massage therapists in the area, but nobody came even close to her in terms of effectiveness. She really listens to what you need and responds with the exact therapy to address problem areas. I know it sounds very corny, but she has had a miraculous impact on my quality of life. So if you are not afraid of breathing through some deep tissue work to live a pain-free life, definitely schedule an appointment with Jessica! I would like to recommend Jessica to anybody with any kind of chronic pain. I have worked with other providers and have not had anywhere near the success that I have had with her. She especially knows about anatomy. After any session with her you will definitely be pain free. I can recommend her her to anyone who is looking for a regular therapist.
