I am a massage therapist serving the central New Jersey area, providing various forms of massage and lymphatic bodywork.
I graduated academic valedictorian from Cortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy in March 2010 with 600 hours of education, including 100 hours of hands-on clinic experience. While in school, I studied extensive anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology.
I hold a New Jersey State License for Massage Therapy (LMT) and opened my independent small business in 2011, working full time as of 2013. I was a massage therapist with the Rutgers Football Team from 2010-2018, providing massage to the players and coaches, along with several other athletic teams. I also worked as the exclusive massage therapist for the Rutgers Field Hockey Team athletes from 2013-2018.
In 2017 I became certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (CMLDT), specializing in the Vodder Technique. Over the years I received advanced training in Traumatic scar tissue management with Cathy Ryan and Nancy Keeney Smith and advanced-MLD techniques in Post Plastic Surgery Procedures via the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS). I am also Certified in Modern Cupping Therapy (CMCTP) and recently became one of the first Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapists (CCST) in New Jersey studying under Nicole Psomas, PT.
I have maintained a professional membership in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 2010 and a member of National Lymphedema Network (NLN) since 2019. My practice is science influenced and guided by the combination of peer-reviewed studies and client results, with a heavy emphasis on anatomy.
