It is recommended the week before (if the date of the C-section is known) to have 5 treatments over 5 days. This will prepare your body for the physical changes from delivery, providing a clean immune system.
For post-op treatments, MLD will reroute lymph to healthy vessels which will reduce swelling, clear bruises faster, and minimize scar tissue. It is recommended to have another 5 sessions 24-48 hours following delivery. All this will accelerate your healing time during this critical recovery phase.
